Mazandaran is one of Iran's most densely populated area's and has glorious past.

All along the XXth century, it was usually considered to be a place with a rather uninteresting carpet production, although a book published in 982 described the refined weavings made in the city of Amol.

During the BRAFA fair, we displayed a large selection of Mazandaran kilims. Most of them were published in Parviz Tanavoli's book Undiscovered Minimalism. (2011).
