Excecuted by the de Munter sisters at the Dageraadplaats in Antwerp. Although they mainly did some mending, occasionally they accepted to make carpets. This is an example of one of the orders they executed.
Latch hooking is a craft technique where short segments of yarn are tied to a canvas grid using a special tool called a latch hook. By pulling pre-cut pieces of yarn through the canvas, you create tufts that form a pile, similar to a shaggy rug. This household craft is used to make small rugs, wall hangings, or pillows.
