´The murder scene of Dr. David Kelly´

Dr. David Kelly went for a walk in the English countryside on July 17, 2003. He never made it back. He was found dead in a field near his home a short while later. Kelly, who was a member of the UN inspection team in Iraq looking for weapons of mass destruction, died of bleeding from his slashed left wrist. Kelly ominously warned of "many dark actors playing games", in an e-mail sent hours before he bled to death. The message, sent to a journalist, appeared to refer to officials within the Ministry of Defence, and British intelligence agencies, with whom he had sparred over interpretations of Iraqi weapons reports, according to the New York Times. Kelly, was openly critical of his government´s distortion and mishandling of intelligence supporting the United States invasion of Iraq. They declared it a suicide. They found a knife close to the body, and some pain killers were found nearby. These are the typical hallmarks of an assassination.
