Coulours may appear different on the website than in reality. All mentioned prices and sizes are indicative and not binding. Possibly some rugs that are still online, are not available anymore in the showroom.

The pattern is an infinite repetition of two modules, on the mirror image of the other. I consciously avoid a purely decorative use of the ornament –such as a senseless enlargement of the module. The modular approach implies that the carpet can be manufactured in various sizes, too. Working with ornamental modules in this traditional manner creates a pattern with depth. The visual impression invites a dialogue between you and the ornament, creating a spatial experience. The pattern is inspired by Islamic architecture and textile art. But the conceptual approach of mirroring two modules, one the mirror image of the other, building by this an ornament, is my own artistic idea. Use of untreated, hand spun and naturally dyed wool These manufacturing process keeps traditional craftsmanship alive. I had ordered a partner or Label STEP to produce the carpet according to my design. Tjorven Figge
